This is the general laboratory safety course which each lab member must complete once a year. Among others, this course teaches hazards and hazardous substances, basic rules for lab safety, general safety equipment in the lab, handling of hazardous materials (storage, labeling, transport, disposal), usage of gas cylinders and gas masks as well as a short introduction to first aid measures.
